Indian Social Science Journal (ISSJ), a refereed journal, seeks to bring multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches to bear upon the study of social, economic, political and other related problems of contemporary concern. It also welcomes contributions clarifying methodological and theoretical issues. ISSJ publishes articles of a general or comparative nature as well as those focused on particular themes. From time to time, special issues devoted to the discussion of a particular theme, comprising mostly invited articles, also will be published. Shorter communications, review articles, and book reviews are regular features.
ISSR welcomes contributions from Indian scholars wherever they are placed and whatever is the geographical focus of their research. It also publishes articles by non-Indian scholars dealing with India. It invites papers (in duplicate) that follow the interdisciplinary approach. The length of papers should be between 5000 and 8000 words. Shorter communications and research notes may also be considered.
